U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry canceled his visit to Kazakhstan due to Hurricane Harvey.
The press service of the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan said that Perry will not visit Astana due to the hurricane and the department's duty to actively monitor the fuel supply situation as a result of the storm.
US Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will lead the US Presidential Delegation to the EXPO-2017 International Fair in Astana, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
