Today, US Secretary of State John Kerry said that the United States doesn't intend to carry out a ground operation in Syria and Libya in order to fight against the Daesh terrorist organization. He made such a statement at a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, after a meeting of the so-called 'small group' of the international coalition against Daesh.
According to Kerry, US President Barack Obama would want a large-scale intervention in Syria only if weapons of mass destruction may be found there, or in case of any other especially serious cases, RIA Novosti reports.
