The US authorities are investigating an alleged bribery scheme involving payments to officials at the United Nations to gain support for real-estate development in Macau.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the investigation may be associated with the recent arrest of Ng Lap Seng, who is the Macau real-estate developer, Gazeta.ru reports.
