The US regrets the suspension of nuclear cooperation with Russia, the US State Department spokesman, Mark Toner, said at a daily news briefing.
"If they’re accurate, we would regret the Russian decision to unilaterally suspend cooperation on what we believe is a very important issue that’s in the interest of both of our countries," he stressed.
"We’ve yet to receive official notification from the Russians about the suspension of an agreement on cooperation in nuclear and energy-related scientific research," Toner added.
