Seven people were killed in the US missile strikes on a Syrian air base, the Homs Governor Talal Barazi said.
Barazi said the death toll was seven, five servicemen and two civilians from the Shayrat village near the base were killed as a result of the strikes, Reuters reported.
In separate comments to al-Mayadeen, he said: "The war against terrorism will continue."
