The US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter has said at today's hearing in the Senate that the US servicemen won’t allow Russia to prevent actions of the international coalition in Syria.
"We don’t cooperate with Russia, and we won’t allow to influence the course of the coalition," he stressed.
At the same time, Ashton Carter promised that Washington will intensify its air campaign against the terrorist group Islamic State. According to the minister, he meant additional US military aircrafts and international coalition forces, as well as increase of the number and intensity of bombardments, RIA Novosti reports.
