Ukraine intends to restore completely the electricity supply to Crimea by November 23rd, the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak received such a promise from his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Demchishin.
Yesterday morning unknown saboteurs damaged two power lines leading to Crimea, in the Chaplin and Genichesk districts of the Kherson region of Ukraine, resulting in two of the four transmission lines being damaged and electricity supply interrupted. This has cut the amount of energy supplied to Crimea by 30%. The lines are thought to have been blown up.
