Soon, Crimea will start to publish the first newspaper in the Ukrainian language, the head of the State Committee of the Republic on Matters of International Relations and Deported Citizens, Zaur Smirnov announced.
"The newspaper will tell about the life of Ukrainians in Crimea. Its title is still in the draft document,’’ RIA Novosti quotes Smirnov as saying.
The newspaper will be supported by the Crimean government: the according agreement was signed with the Ukrainian community of Crimea.
The first issue of the new newspaper will be released within a month, Smirnov assured.
