Ukranian government signs a cooperation agreement with the WHO European Office

The Government of Ukraine and the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) have signed a cooperation agreement for a period of two years. This is stated in a message posted on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The government noted that the document provides for the exchange of information in order to prevent the emergence and spread of outbreaks of COVID-19, as well as providing a basis for cooperation in many other areas of healthcare, TASS reports.

Let us remind you that the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of a new coronavirus a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Today, the number of people infected with COVID-19 worldwide exceeds 338 million, of whom more than 5.5 million people died. In Ukraine, 3,982,738 people were diagnosed with coronavirus. 105,380 people died.
