The mosque, which will named after the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, will open in the Chechen town of Shali next year, the press service of the head and government of the region said.
The mosque is being built on the territory of more than 5 hectares near the complex of high-rise buildings 'Shali-City'. It can accommodate 20 thousand people. The height of the four minarets around the mosque will be 63 meters, and the height of its dome will reach 43 m. The construction of the mosque has started in December 2012.
