In North Ossetia, over 300 trucks are stuck in a traffic jam on the border with Georgia. The Deputy Prime Minister of the region spoke about this on June 3.
"Traffic along the Georgian Military Road (...) is open to all types of vehicles. There are 338 heavy vehicles on the republic's roads",
Irbek Tomaev said.
He also said that more than 22 thousand vehicles and 53 thousand people had crossed the Upper Lars checkpoint over the past week.
In turn, the North Ossetian traffic police department reported that 400 trucks had been registered in the electronic queue, waiting to travel to Georgia.
