Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov arrived in Azerbaijan on October 30.
He was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov, at the Heydar Aliyev Baku International Airport.
Aripov will attend the opening ceremony of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.
The peak capacity of the 826-kilometer railway will be 17 million metric tons of cargo per year, with initial stage projections of one million passengers and 6.5 million metric tons of cargo.
