VTB chair on Moody's outlook on Russia: that's right

President and Chairman of the Management Board of Russia's VTB Bank Andrei Kostin sees the prerequisites for further positive decisions on Russia's sovereign rating.

"That's right, this is just the beginning!" the chair of VTB commented on the decision of Moody's.

He also believes that there are prerequisites for further improving the rating and forecasts on it. "Of course, there are prerequisites for this," RIA Novosti cited Kostin as saying.

Earlier today, Moody's rating agency has changed the outlook on Russia's Ba1 long-term issuer and senior unsecured debt ratings to positive from stable. Moody's also affirmed Russia's long-term ratings at ‘Ba1’, the agency said in a press release.
