The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be solved due to granting Nagorno Karabakh a high degree of autonomy within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the Armenian human rights activist Vage Avetyan said in Baku at the conference titled 'The Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: main obstacles and prospects of the settlement. “I am here not only as a politician, but also as a writer, as an individual. I wanted to bow before the Khojaly genocide memorial,” Trend cited Avetyan as saying.
Avetyan believes in the effectiveness of his activities as a human rights defender in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict's resolution. “I wouldn't have wasted a second of my time if I wasn't sure of the result,” he said.
