The persons, who impudently hold the power in Armenia, who have committed genocide in Khojaly, are now committing genocide against the people of Armenia, the head of the Armenian Intra-National Liberation Movement Organization, Vahan Martirosyan, said at a conference titled 'The Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: main obstacles and prospects of the settlement. View from Armenia and Azerbaijan'.
“They conceal from the Armenian people that the Armenian Church has been preserved intact in Baku, that 30,000 Armenians live here. I have had an opportunity to meet with them. The situation is the opposite in Armenia – mosques are destroyed, history is rewritten. Armenian media doesn’t report about this event today,” Trend cited Martirosyan as saying.
He also noted that there is no Armenian who can heartily say that the war has brought them benefits, except for the ruling elite, the number of which doesn’t reach 500 people. “They are making profit on this conflict,” Martirosyan added.
