Vandals have desecrated about four dozen graves in an Orthodox cemetery in a suburb of the capital of Adygeya, the police have opened a criminal case, the head of the department on work with the territories of the mayor's office of Maikop, Alexander Rudenko, reported.
The incident was reported by locals faced with the acts of vandalism. According to police, there is no specific sequence or ‘scheme’ in the vandals’ actions, Rudenko said. ‘’The police have opened a criminal case under the article ‘Damage or desecration of burial places',’’ TASS quotes him as saying.
