Iran’s missile program is solely aimed at self-defense, the head of the Center for Strategic Research Center of Iran’s Expediency Council, Ali Akbar Velayati, said.
"Iran will not seek anyone’s permission for defending itself. It is none of the US business how we defend ourselves,” IRNA cited the official as saying.
Velayati said that Iran has to be self-sufficient in defending ourselves and one important means of defense is missile.
"Iran will not succumb under pressure and will test-fire other missiles if deemed necessary based on its planned goals," he added.
