Venezuelan Oil Minister, Eulogio del Pino, is in Moscow with a working visit, Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro said.
"Eulogio del Pino will meet his Russian counterpart Energy Minister Alexander Novak later in the day," the Venezuelan Embassy in Russia said Tuesday.
Maduro said that del Pino is holding talks in Moscow aimed at ironing out the details of "a necessary agreement" between oil producing countries, both within and outside the OPEC.
During his brief visit abroad that began on October 21, Maduro visited Azerbaijan, Iran, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He described this trip as "very successful," adding that it helped "strengthen the agreement reached in Algeria," TASS reports.
