The Crimean authorities have urged Turkey not to attempt to cast doubt on the reunification of the peninsula with Russia and not to speculate on the status of Crimea, the vice-premier of the Crimean government Ruslan Balbec said today.
"We urge Turkey not to speculate on the status of Crimea, thrusting your hand into someone else's pocket. For two years the Turkish authorities preferred not to describe Crimea as a part of Ukraine, blessing their investors to work in the Crimean region,'' Balbec said, adding that before the deterioration of relations between Russia and Turkey, Turkish businessmen visited Russian Crimea and planned to invest in tourism, infrastructure and agriculture, RIA Novosti reports.
