Vladimir Poletaev: Comprehensive measures are necessary to bring business out of the shadows

A member of the Federation Council Committee on Rules and Organization of parliamentary activities, the representative of the executive body of the Republic of Altai, Vladimir Poletayev, visited the studio of Vestnik Kavkaza today. In a live television broadcast of the program Tribune he spoke about the development of a new type of employment – the institution of self-employment and the authorities’ work to bring small and medium-sized business out of the shadows.

Above all, Vladimir Poletaev stressed that there are significant differences between self-employed citizens and entrepreneurs. "Now in Russia our business is not experiencing the most optimistic mood, and the authorities think about how to improve the mechanisms of support for small business. A patent for self-employed citizens is one such solution. The patent system exists, but, unfortunately, it hasn’t found an application yet, because our citizens are not so economically and legally well-informed about benefits. Therefore, it led to the idea of introducing such an institution for self-employed citizens.

"There are also differences in the system of interaction with the state." When a self-employed citizen buys a patent, roughly speaking, he receives all in one both taxes, and fees, and insurance fees. If a man comes once to the tax authorities to receive self-employed status. After this he can continue to work without thinking about reports, as well as without disturbing the state or anyone else,’’ Vladimir Poletayev noted.
