Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Paris today to take part in 'Normandy Quartet' summit, which will be the third private meeting of the leaders of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine since the creation of the so-called Normandy format of negotiations on Ukraine.
According to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, the meeting in Paris will consist of the actual negotiations and working lunch. In addition, Vladimir Putin will hold separate meetings with French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Ushakov said that the Russian leader has no plans for the bilateral meeting with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The presidents of Russia and Ukraine "will closely communicate" during the negotiations, Russian presidential aide said.
The Ukrainian side has extended the information that Moscow allegedly asked Kiev about the meeting with Poroshenko, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied this information, TASS reports.
