Vnesheconombank has become the most unprofitable company in Russia. This conclusion is based on analysis of the status of the 500 largest companies in the country. The figure from Vnesheconombank of 250 billion rubles was the most significant on the "list of losses" of companies that have found themselves in focus of expert analysts.
These financial losses, in their opinion, were formed as a result the creation of a reserve of 314 billion rubles for impairment of assets.
The following companies are in the top three of most unprofitable companies together with Vnesheconombank – the steelmaking giant 'Mechel' (a loss of 167 billion rubles) and the monopoly 'Russian Railways' (losses of 99 billion rubles).
