Election of the new head of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly will be held this month in St. Petersburg. Russia proposes the candidature of the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, the head of the State Duma CIS Affairs Committee, Leonid Kalashnikov.
Current chairman of the CSTO PA is previous State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin.
