Washington is seriously considering imposing sanctions against participants in the Nord Stream-2 project, US Energy Secretary Rick Perry said today, answering questions asked by American journalists.
“I suppose probably yes. Sanctions are negotiated at a high level in the United States. We take this option seriously, ”TASS quotes him as saying.
Perry said that negotiations are being conducted not only between the US government agencies but also with the European allies. “We will continue to use affordable tools,” the US Energy Secretary promised.
