Will Yerevan demand arrest of CSTO secretary general?

A criminal charge was brought today against the secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Yuri Khachaturov, the press office of Armenia's Special Investigative Service said.

Khachaturov is charged with toppling constitutional order in collusion with other persons, and the agency has applied to court for a detention warrant.

Yesterday, the same charge was brought against Robert Kocharyan, former Armenian president, who had been summoned for questioning as a witness over the bloody events of March 1-2, 2008 and was grilled yesterday by the investigators for three hours. After the inquiry, Kocharyan was let out, but a little later the charge was brought against him, ARKA recalls.
