The Director General of Hungarian airline WizzAir, Joseph Varadi, stated today during the Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum that the resumption of flights between Budapest and Baku will open a new tourist route for Hungarian citizens.
Varadi informed that flights on the Budapest-Baku route will start from March 27th, tickets will cost from 60 euros to 80 euros.
In turn, Budapest, according to Varadi, can become "gateway to Europe" for the citizens of Azerbaijan. "The cost of a ticket from Baku to Budapest will be less than a hundred manats, a ticket from Budapest to London also costs less than one hundred manats. Thus, a flight from Baku to London will cost less than 200 manats," Trend quoted him as saying.
