Registration of candidates in the upcoming municipal elections, which are due to be held in December, started today in Saudi Arabia.
According to the laws existing in the kingdom, half of the deputies will be determined according to the results of the voting. The other half will be appointed by the monarch.
The highlight of this election will be that women will be allowed to participate in them for the first time in the history of the country.
