Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun: there is no limit to perfection

Yana Kudryavtseva and Margarita Mamun, who won gold and silver medals in the individual all-round events in rhythmic gymnastics at the First European Games in Baku, spoke about their impressions of today's events.

Yana Kudryavtseva first stated that "there is no limit to perfection," adding that she is not upset about the fact that Margarita Mamun will perform in the finals in the hoop exercise. 'It means that Rita was better, and I cannot say anything against the judges here."

She admitted that she has a deceptively quiet manner, she was very worried before performing at the First European Games.

The Russian athlete noted the support of fans. "We had a whole tribune of Russian fans, we are very grateful to the Federation of gymnastics for this. We probably would have failed without them," she thanked.

Margarita Mamun, in her turn, admitted that she is satisfied with her performances. "There were certainly errors, for example, with the hoop and the ball. But the ribbon was performed at a high level," she said.

The gymnast noted that today was a rare case when she was able to fully cheer for Yana Kudryavtseva. "To be honest, it's unusual to watch the competition in the stands," Margarita Mamun said.

According to her, the winning gymnasts already talked with the President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Irina Viner-Usmanova, after the event.
