Yerevan State University students stopped the protest actions after the rector Aram Simonyan was hospitalized.
"We wish health to Yerevan State University rector Aram Simonyan, and in support, we are stopping the protest actions," organizer of the YSU Restart initiative, which demands the rector’s resignation and has made several other demands, Davit Petrosyan wrote on his Facebook account.
"The hall of the Academic Council continues to remain a liberated student area," Petrosyan added.
Students demanding Simonyan’s resignation blocked the rector’s office. Later it became known that Simonyan was hospitalized, News.am recalls.
