The Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will be held in Yerevan on 11-12 March, it will be attended by Russian parliamentarians. The agenda of the session will include issues of fighting against international terrorism and threats of extremism, the Chairman of the CSTO PA permanent commission on defense and security issues, Russian State Duma deputy, Anatoly Vyborny, said.
"At the end of the last year terrorist and extremist threats have intensified. Among other problems, those threats are evidently most actual, therefore, the measures the CSTO plans to undertake to countermeasure those threats and prevent them will be the top topic of the discussions," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
Vyborny noted that the issue of CSTO priorities under Armenia's chairmanship will be touched upon as well.
