Yoga and Ayurvedic lovers to get special visas to India

The Indian government intends to issue special visas for foreigners who wish to practice yoga or Ayurveda, The Indian Express newspaper writes.

"Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced plans to launch special visas for foreign tourists who want to use the services of traditional medicine - Ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy, Unani, siddhi and homeopathy", Interfax quoted her.

The new initiative is part of the government campaign Heal In India, which aims to develop medical tourism in India.

The visa will be called Ayush visa, the cost and timing of its launch are not specified.
