The head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Yuri Kokov, has met with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill.
According to the press service of Kokov, the head of the republic and the patriarch discussed the strengthening of inter-religious and inter-ethnic harmony in the society. In addition, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church thanked Yuri Kokov for support of the Orthodox Church in the region. In turn, the KBR delegation shared its impressions of a visit to the Kremlin's Archangel Cathedral, where there are the remains of Grand Duchess Maria Temrjukovna, wife of Ivan IV, the daughter of the chief prince of Kabarda, Temryuk Idarov, the Russian Planet news agency reports.
