Tehran is in favor of a political solution to the Yemeni crisis and is ready to send humanitarian aid to the country, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said at a meeting with the representative of the Houthi rebels from the Shiite movement Ansar Allah, Muhammad Abdel Salam.
"Zarif announced Iran’s support for the establishment of a ceasefire and Yemeni negotiations, recalling the readiness of our country to send humanitarian aid to Yemen," the Iranian Foreign Ministry quotes Zarif as saying.
