13 convicts were pardoned in Georgia. This decision was made by the President of the Republic Salome Zurabshivili.
According to a message distributed by the administration of the President, 6 out of 13 convicts will be released, and 5 have had their sentences reduced.
The act of pardon also affected two convicts whose sentences did not involve imprisonment.
At the end of May, the Georgian President pardoned 7 convicts.
