Yerevan hosts the Supersymmetry in Integrable Systems International Conference, attended by Japan, Korea, Russia, Germany, UK, France, Italy, USA, Brazil, Iran, Morocco, Ukraine, Moldova and Greece on August 27-30, NEWS.am reports.
Supersymmetry was invented in 1972. It studies the symmetry of matter and radiation. The first converence was held in Yerevan in 2010, the second in Hannover in 2011.
The conference was organized by Armen Nersesyan, a PhD in Physics and Mathematics of the Subdepartment of Theoretical Physics of the Physics Department of the Yerevan State University, and Professor Olaf Lechtenfeld of the Hannover University, financed by Volkswagen Stiftung. The third conference is financed by ICTP. The Russian-Armenian University will host a session on theoretical physics on August 30.
