The International Money Fund says rates of increase of GDP in CIS countries will be 4.7% in2011, and in 2012 - 4.6%, Trend reports.
Rates of increase of the international economic activity are higher than they were expected, the IMF said. In the second half of 2010, 5% growth was observed due to high volumes of consumption in the US and Japan. Generally private consumption began to revive after the world financial crisis.
In the countries of developing markets the growth will continue in 2011 as well as in 2012. The forecasts say the level of increase will be 6.5%. The highest rates of increase are still observed in Asian countries.
In countries of a developed economy the growth is expected by 2.5%. The process of reconstruction is still very slow. Unemployment levels are high.
