The Iranian Minister of the Economy and Finance, Seyed Shamseddin Hosseini, and the Indian Minister of the Economy, Pranab Mukerji, plan to expand bilateral trade-economic ties and establish conditions for joint investments, IRNA reports.
Mukerji said that he will use the high economic potential of the two countries. Trade turnover may be increased.
Hosseini underlined that the two countries have strategic relations. Trade turnover currently exceeds $14 billion and needs infrastructural improvement.
The sides need to resolve issues regarding trade infrastructure, taxing, investments and price preferences.
