The Center for Studies of the Iranian Parliament has conducted a study on the income and expenditure of the budget for next year (new year in Iran begins on March 21). The results show that next year the government will increase oil exports, Iranian internet newspaper donya-e-eqtesad.com reports.
During the first 9 months of 2010, Iran exported 2.26 million barrels of oil per day on average. The new studies show, however, that crude oil exports will increase to 2.3 million barrels per day.
Iranian Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazymi said in an interview in October 2010 that Iran's reserves amount to 150 billion barrels of oil, even though the official figure was previously 138 billion.
