Javad Ouji, Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister and Director of the Iranian National Gas Company, said that Iran will sign documents on the export of gas to Iraq and Syria, Iran News reports.
Negotiations on transport and transit of natural gas were held in Baghdad.
Iran, Iraq and Syria agreed on gas transit from Iran's South Pars field through three states to Lebanon, the Mediterranean to Europe.
A 5,600-kilometre pipeline will be built. It will transport 110 million cubic meters of gas daily.
Ouji said that Iran's demand for natural gas will reach 10-15 million cubic meters daily in 2020, Syria's - 15-20 million, and Lebanon's - 5-7 million.
