Iran plans to launch three satellites this year, head of the Iranian
Space Agency Hamid Fazeli said, Trend reports.
The Kavoshgar-5 rocket will be launched to an altitude of 120 km in
early August, it will carry 285 kg of cargo and a monkey.
The Fajr rocket will be launched in 1.5 years.
Iran launched the Rassad-1 satellite to an altitude of 260 km on
Wednesday. Iran announced plans to launch a satellite in July 2010.

Iran plans to launch 2 communications satellites in 2011.
Iran launched the first Kavoshgar-1 in February 2008. Kavoshgar-2 was
launched in November. It collected science data and returned in 40
minutes. The The Kavoshgar-3 launch was announced on February 3, 2010.
It carried living organisms.
Iran demonstrated the Tolu, Mesbakh-2 and Mehdi student satellite in
early February. The Simorg was also demonstrated.
