Baku will host the 32nd Commission for Biological Resources of the Caspian Sea, chaired by Azerbaijan, tomorrow.
According to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the session is expected to see the attendance of officials from the ministry and committees of fishing of Caspian states.
The three-day session will see reports on quota for fishing, fish breeding and protection of fishing resources. Reports will also be presented on the situation around the fishing resources and etc. The session will have clarification of the ban for sturgeon fishing.
The Baku summit of Caspian states on November 18, 2010, was notable for Kazakh president proposing a band for sturgeon fishing. It was approved by other leaders. Russia introduced an agreement on the protection of sturgeons of the Caspian Sea.
