The US Congress Research Service published a report on the purchases of weapons in 2007-2010. US allies Israel, Japan and Poland are no longer top 10 buyers of weapons, MIGnews reports.
Saudi Arabia is the top purchaser of US weapons. It purchased weapons worth $13.8 billion in three years.
The United Arab Emirates purchased weapons worth $10.4 billion, followed by Egypt with $7.8 billion.
Taiwan takes the 4th position ($6.6 billion), followed by Australia ($6.4 billion) , Iraq ($5.6 billion), Pakistan ($4.1 billion), UK ($4 billion), Turkey ($3.8 billion) and South Korea ($3.1 billion).
