Air Baltic Airlines is not going to leave Georgia. In fact it plans to increase the number of flights, Air Baltic Airlines vice-president Janis Vanags said, Trend informs.
In an interview with TV Company PIK, Vanags said that the company intends to increase the number of flights from three to four a week.
"The Tbilisi-Riga route is one of the priorities for the company," he added. "We are going to increase the number of flights and improve services to passengers. Latvia and Georgia are attractive from the point of view of the countries' tourism. There is a high demand for flights."
Air Baltic was founded in 1995. About 99.8 per cent of its shares are owned by the state. The company makes flights to Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn.
