Russia will reduce export fees for oil by 2.6% in May 2012, compared with March, from $460.7 to $448.6 per ton, Kommersant reports.
The custom rate was adjusted according to monitoring of prices for the Urals oil from March 15 to April 14. The average price was $120.7605 per barrel, an expert of the Russian Finances Ministry Alexander Sakovich said today.
Reduced custom fees were set for oil from 13 fields of Eastern Siberia and two fields of Lukoil at the Caspian Sea. It will be $232.4 per ton in May, compared with $241.5 per ton in April. Oil taxing uses the 60-66-90 system. Custom fees for petroleum, except gasoline, will be $296 per ton in May, compared with $304 per ton in April.
The protective duty for gasoline will be at 90%, set in May 2011. It will reach $403.7 per ton in May, compared with $414.6 per ton in April.
