The Moscow Mayor’s Office and the main shareholders of the Yevropeysky Trade Center God Nisanov and Zarakh Iliyev have agreed to sell the city’s share in the project, Vedomosti reports.
The share will be purchased for 2.499 billion rubles. Additional emission will be carried out by Ploshad Yevropy, where Moscow has a share of 30%, the rest belongs to Nisanov and Iliyev. The rest of the share will be split to at least 5%.
The conflict between the owners of Yevropeysky and the mayor’s office started when the latter noticed shortage of profit from realization of the project. The property department was to get 30% of area, the investor was to get 70%. The center was to have an area of 72,000 square meters, but the investor built 179,945 square meters without handing surplus of area to the city.
Two lawsuits were filed to the Moscow Arbitrary Court in July. The sides decided to resolve the problem themselves later.
