Iran has signed customs deals with 30 members of the Non-Aligned Movement, as stated by Mohammad-Hosein Bag-Enayat, Director General for International Affairs of the Iranian Customs Department, Trend reports.
Deals were signed with Afghanistan, Belarus, Pakistan, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Algeria, Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, India, Cuba, Ecuador, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
Iran said that its annual trade turnover with members of the Non-Aligned Movement exceeded $40 billion. Non-petroleum trade since March 21, 2011, totaled about $43 billion. Iran exported products worth $19.7 billion to members of the Non-Aligned Movement and imported products worth $24.1 billion.
Total non-petroleum trade of Iran from March 2011 to March 2012 totaled about $105 billion, 40% of which came from members of the movement.
