Russian Chief Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko said that Georgian wine would achieve only minor presence on the Russian alcohol market, about 4% of the market at best, Interfax reports.

He confirmed that Russian experts will visit Georgian wine-makers to check their quality of products. Three groups of specialists will visit the manufacturers.

Onishchenko met Levan Davitashvili, head of the national agency for wine, and said that Russia was not ready for Georgian wine.
