The Georgian-Azerbaijani transportation corridor will soon become compete with the Russian-Iranian transportation corridor, Georgian Premier Nika Gilauri said at a Cabinet session today, Business Georgia reports.
Gilauri said that there are many shareholders in the project and some problems appeared with private investors.
"We are going to attract additional users of this transportation route, and so it is of vital importance to increase its competitiveness," he noted.
Recently a working group on the development of the transportation corridor has been established to coordinate the activity of all companies in the project.
