Due to the Russian embargo on wheat exports, Georgia is searching for alternative exporters, reports Business Georgia. Russia was a favourable exporter, because grain exports from the US, Canada and Europe are more expensive solutions. The largest Georgian importer “Agrokom” had been buying Russian grain for $260, which will now cost $380, said the company's president Ketevan Kublashvili.
