Speaker of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili said that the free trade agreements between Georgia and the EU were opening doors to big markets for Armenia and the whole region, Georgia Online reports.
Concerning trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia, Usupashvili noted that it had increased by 50% in 2013. In his words, there was also progress in 2014, leaving more potential to make use of, such as regional economic projects. The official added that the two states could develop the tourism industry together and encourage foreigners to visit each other’s states. The speaker concluded that the countries should analyze all sectors and ideas at first.
